I am Maminiaina Albertine RAZAFIARIMINO. I come from a Christian family. At the age of 12, I joined a group of the Eucharistic Youth Movement. I studied at the Daughters of Wisdom in Fandriana and then at the ESCOF high school (Ecole Sacrée Cœur Fandriana) directed by the Brothers of Saint Gabriel.
This is how I had the opportunity to know Saint Louis-Marie Grignion de Montfort and Blessed Marie-Louise de Jésus. Very quickly I became familiar with these two holy people: their love for the poor and Montfort’s motto “God Alone” had touched me. I was also attracted by the mission of education that the Daughters of Wisdom carried out.
I was touched by their openness to love everyone. I saw the simplicity of the sisters who welcomed children in difficulty and their compassion for the poor. Their way of witnessing to Christ and their commitment to give dignity to every person had really touched me and I carried within me the desire to become a Daughter of Wisdom to serve the poorest.
Moreover, the name “Wisdom” attracted me. I felt that the sisters were a good witness to Wisdom through their lives. Having obtained my baccalaureate, I entered the Daughters of Wisdom. After a long journey of formation to religious life in different stages and in different places, I had the joy of being admitted to pronounce my first vows in the Congregation of the Daughters of Wisdom in Madagascar.
After 6 years of temporary vows lived in three communities in Mahanoro, Our Lady of Joy Antsakaviro and Antsiraraka Morondava, strengthened by the experiences of religious life lived in joy and sorrow, I was admitted to perpetual profession on December 27, 2020. I give thanks to the Lord who has supported me during all these years.
I find that I am fulfilled in religious life, I see myself fulfilled in the mission of the Congregation. I thank the Congregation of the Daughters of Wisdom for having welcomed me as I am and for having given me the possibility to grow in my vocation.
