“After creating all things,
Eternal Wisdom abides in them to contain, maintain and renew them.”
The feasts of Montfort and Marie-Louise offer us an occasion to gather as a Montfortian family and with the Friends of Wisdom to celebrate together our founders. Celebrating is not only remembering our past but is also a special invitation to actualize for today the double passion that animated the hearts and the lives of our founders: passion for Wisdom and for the poor.
This year, we have chosen the Relational Justice of Wisdom as our theme in connection with the Orientations of the General Chapter. The preparation was entrusted to the Province of the United States. We would like to thank all the persons who participated in the elaboration of this special prayer which will gather the whole Congregation and the Friends of Wisdom around our Founders.
May this double Triduum be an occasion to pray for one another so that we may journey with courage and audacity as did our Founders. Let us not be afraid to be true disciples of Wisdom and be involved more and more with creation that Wisdom constantly renews throughout the ages. Let us respond to Her call so that others may follow in loving and serving the poor.
My Council joins me in assuring you of our affection. We wish you a joyous feast in honor of our Founders and in communion with the entire Congregation and with the Montfortian Family.
Sister Louise Madore, D.W.
